My latest mission... to obtain a pair of "stripper shoes"! I have located the store... recommended by two different store clerks that are in the know. I also have the perfect girlfriend to be my accomplice. Now it's just a matter of finding the time to drive the 45 minutes across town to the dreaded mall at this most crazy time of year.
My husband, the musician, recently played a production of Miss Siagon (which I saw twice). The girls were amazing... scantily clad and bumping and grinding throughout the show (very tastfully, of course!). Dave pointed out the shoes. He saw them backstage all dressed up, but with the shoes off and said they looked really funny. It's a posture thing, I guess. So, I'm in the market for the shoes! I will post a picture when I get them... maybe just of my foot, but a picture nonetheless! ha.
After obtaining said shoes, my next mission is to locate a dance class. Yes, THAT kind of dance class! Again, I have the perfect girlfriend that is game to go with me. You know how girls always do things in packs! I just think it would be a total riot. So far, the only known class is in LA... which I might do as a last resort, but it would be a one shot only deal instead of the 6 week class that it's designed to be. I'll keep you posted!
