This was the gig of a lifetime for me! Hubby was playing with Manhattan Transfer at the Ritz Carlton for New Year's Eve!! They are one of my all-time favorite groups and he totally nailed the gig! I was allowed to watch from backstage... the tickets for dinner and the show were $500 each!! So I got dolled up, drove the 4 hours up the coast of Florida with Dave after he worked all day, then I got to STAND for the entire night in very painful shoes, then we drove BACK 4 hours so he could go to work the next day! But to hear him play with Manhattan Transfer was worth every moment of pain. Even the pain of seeing this picture.... who IS that person????
