In Denial

Seeing photos like these--two years after they were taken!--are what finally made me realize I needed to do something! Funny, I remember getting dressed that day (I was on a business trip) and thinking I looked pretty good. You can never trust your mirror, but photos don't lie.

I remember thinking that the girl behind me was really big. Hmmmm... don't think I'd want to make a side-by-side comparison.

I was so excited when I found this snowman shirt. It even had a snowman on the back side. I thought it was nice to have something for people looking at my backside to look at OTHER than my backside! This picture was taken on the train ride up to the Grand Canyon. It was really cold, so I bundled up. But because of my extra weight, I got so hot on the tour bus that I almost passed out.

Thanks for your comment. You are why I created the blog and why I still go in the JC chat room and message boards. It is such a long scary journey, but I certainly wasn't the first to take that journey, nor will I be the last. Everyone is at different points along the way. You are making AMAZING progress!
