We got the new baby on Saturday... 2007 Nissan Sentra... blue onyx with tan leather interior. Lots of tech toys, my fav of which is bluetooth in the steering wheel. Voice activated dialing, so my phone can stay in my purse. I just say "call mom" and there she is coming out of my speakers. It also turns off the radio and the ringtone comes through the speakers when a call comes in. One button on the steering wheel answers, another rejects.
Also love the smart key. Just keep the fob in my purse. Walk up to the car, touch a button and it unlocks. Touch a button on the trunk and it opens. Turn the switch and it starts... NO KEY. Saves fumbling with digging things out of my purse and I LOVE that!
I had trepidation about leather seats in AZ, but so far they are wonderful. Anything gets hot in 110+, so big deal. I do love a hot car... a hot seat is very theraputic, especially after freezing in an office all day.
Hubby is insanely jealous as it was "his turn" for a new car. We've had two Maximas and two Altimas since we got married. It definitely IS his turn... he'll get hooked up after my year-end bonus. He takes such good care of me!
Best part may be that it gets upwards of 30 mpg. I drive 30 miles each way to work, all freeway, so I should get pretty good gas mileage out of it. It's a seriously smooth ride! I'm loving every minute of being on the road now.

My name is Alisa too, go figure! I love your blog! Ive joined JC as well since April 4, Im 5'2 and was 239, now 231. Have not lost much but its a start. Your blog was very motivational for me and I hope to be you some day looking back on what was. It will be hard I know, I just found out I have hypothyroidism so I know it wont be easy, just need to keep looking ahead and reading about people like yourself, congrats!!!
